just got one not to long ago and the games so far are pretty good

I got a normal ds. You should get PSO zero and rev it up.

It seems like a lot of folks have been knocking it since release but I'm not one of them. When I can afford one I'll be getting it plus the obligatory Zelda.

yeah zelda is pretty good on it so is dead or alive

I've heard good reports about DOA. Street Fighter's meant to be good on it also. Are you into soccer Mike ? Cos Pro Evolution is one of the best games of it's type and is said to be excellent on the 3DS. Also the Tom Clancy game got decent coverage. There's some pretty good releases on the horizon, I might have to bite the bullet sooner rather than later !

Can you play ordinary DS games on it ? I never thought to ask about that before.
