"Recent Topics" column (yeah, this one!)

Post by Raen »

Shouldn't the column on the right in the main forum page called "Recent Topics" be called "Recent posts" instead, and redirect to the latest post of that specific topic when clicked?

The column lists the topics with recent posts, be the topic new or not, and should redirect to the latest post/most recent unread post, not the 1st post of the topic like it is doing now.

It's a PITA if you ask me!!

Well its a preference thing really. If you aren't familiar with the topic of discussion you'd end up having to go back to the 1st post on the topic that was posted. And for some topics you end up having to read through it all really lol

The Dreamcast game nights post benefit the most from having the first post shown on the topic :)

Well, I always clicked in the topic's title, never on those icons. I can barely see the little icon as I use my PC with a CRT, so the whole theme is a little dark.

Nevertheless, shouldn't it be called "recent posts"?

in the user control panel.. under board preferences.. youll find the "my board style" option..

changing the style to "lite style" gives the board a more typical messageboard appearance with a light colored background...

:D
