That would have make a lot of sense for it not to be a demake because the game's development goes back to around 1998. If it didn't suffer as many delays and wasn't so disappointing it would have been a great game for that system.

That is pretty much the case too. When it comes to a title that Rockstar had some believable speculation that there was a working prototype for the Dreamcast, then look at 3D Realms 1998 press conference where they showed off Max Payne.

Funny that I keep on commenting here but I never threw my 2 cents in already. My pick for a demake would have to be Portal. I can see the game to work nearly flawlessly with the standard controller in mind.

Burnout 3! Imagine if this game was playable on Dreamcast ....
