Defective Kiss: Psycho Circus disc?

Hi,

...so, I bought a resurfaced copy of Kiss: Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child for Dreamcast. Before I put it in the Dreamcast, I put it in a Mac computer. It scratched it up a little bit, but not too bad, I don't think. But when I put it in the Dreamcast and hit "Play", it said "Please insert game disc." I tried putting it back in, but it keeps giving me the message. I don't know what's going on here, but I'm thinking it has something to do with the Mac getting those scratches on it.

Could someone please help me? Thanks.

The only advice I can offer is finding a local store that has disc resurfacing. It's usually less than $5 per disc. Get it resurfaced, if it still doesn't work the disc is bad

I'm not sure why you'd put the disc in a Mac lol

^what he said^. And check for disc rot hold it up to the light and see if there's any pinholes.

First thing first get the disc resurfaced. I have used one of these and so far I have not had any problems.

It that fails, then you might want to inspect the disc in a well lit room. Make sure that there isn't any bronzing on the data side of the disc, and any burn holes on the label of the disc by holding the label side up to a light source. Other than that I would not trust those tray-less disc drives to see if there if it can be read fully.

I put it in the Mac because I thought there would be a cool bonus, like my SA disc gave me desktop backgrounds.
