The evil arrow

Post by GameOverYeah »

So... there's a mode in Crazy Taxi called original mode. I hadn't played it in almost 15 years, I forgot it even existed. And whenever I saw it in the menu I assumed it was just the same city but with tweaks in the gameplay. Then I decided to play it a few days ago. It is evil.

The arrow, which in the arcade game guides you to your destination, in original mode misleads you in every conceivable way. I do not know if this is intentional or not. But it's the devil. I wanted to see if any of yall are in the same situation.

Then again the city in original mode is way smaller, I simply learned the map out of my head so I don't need the arrow anymore

The arrow is the same, the problem is the map itself...

In original mode there are a lot of curving roads at acute angles, and the arrow almost always points directly to the target (or a waypoint near it)

In the arcade map its different
