All you need was this, https://www.amazon.com/External-Voice-M ... oice+modem and a Phone cable.

Anyways I have phone cable and I can buy that thing. Futhermore I have a old xp laying around that can us VM and a gaming pc.

It's possible but it's kind of a pain in the butt. You may also need a line voltage inducer.

The video didn't say you need a line voltage inducer, but if this works I will do it even though it might be a pain in the butt

Well if I know its possible I guess I'll give it a shot!

Anyone got any else suggestions or something to say?

If you have a type A Dreamcast modem then you will likely not need a line voltage inducer. For an example, I am using a TRENDnet TFM-560X (https://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-Externa ... B00008AWKZ) on my PC using a serial to USB cable and I did not need to use a line voltage inducer when using my old type A modem. I had to buy a replacement Dreamcast not that long ago that had a type B modem included. When using the type B modem, a line voltage inducer had to be used to establish a connection between the modems. Unfortuantely, I cannot get a full 33600 connection when using my type B modem for some reason. Luckily my type A Dreamcast modem still works so I have been using it in my newer Dreamcast.

The method does work. I have tested the method in a VM before and it does work. I use Linux as my primary OS so I don't have to worry about running a VM.

Really? Do you have a Skype or a Discord so we can discuss about this?
