So I've not had chance this weekend to properly sit down and do some work, but I'm planning to do some tonight. The stuff I have done should help though as I have stripped the data pulled down a lot and do all of the processing on the server now, so slower connections should see a big increase in load speed.

Re: Dreamcast Now Android app
Thank you for the updates to the Android application. The latest release is a big improvement over the first version. Unfortunately, I do have a networking problem to bring up. Whenever I attempt to ping your server, I am getting warnings about duplicate packets being received. Here is the output of ping whenever I attempt to ping your server.
Code: Select all
$ ping -c 5 "dreamcastnow.mandark.org"

I've not lost motivation aha. I've had a lot on that's all. Every time I've planned to do some work, I've either had to go somewhere or I've been drained from work!

Re: Dreamcast Now Android app
I've been working on it this weekend, starting to do a schedule view for game nights and I'm cleaning up some of the notification code. I'll hopefully have a new release out soon

Re: Dreamcast Now Android app
Now how large of a task is it to get the app running on Windows Desktop once most of the Android app is finished?
I think a desktop app is equally important as Android/iOS, because if you're on yur PC chances are you'd get on DC after you see notifications of people logging in
Again great job for doing this, this is the most needed thing in the community in my opinion

Re: Dreamcast Now Android app
Notifications have been in for when people come online for about 2/3 weeks now.
This is a new feature that allows people to say they want to play a game and then people get a notification saying that person is wanting people to come online. It's called looking for game. I've not done the app side yet this is the backend stuff I was testing. I'll be doing the app update soon this week.
