Works fine in VGA for me. In fact, I recorded the footage in my video via VGA. I can't really explain the scrambled graphics you're getting. That's really strange.

@Padre! Nice purchase.
You are suffering the same that the PAL users had with the 50hz TV and the NTSC 60hz games, but inverse! Via VGA the thing is fixed automatically, but with old TV... Try loading it with code breaker or the GDplay app if you have Dreamshell installed.

Hmmm, I see it's listed on the back cover artwork as being compatible with VGA, yet my monitors all tell me "no support"... the audio comes through for me when using VGA, but no picture, just blue screen. I tried using Dreamexplorer to change from 60 to 50 hz, but that didn't fix anything unfortunately. There aren't any scratches or smudges on my disc, but I lightly cleaned it anyway, no luck. I had another European game that had this same problem, (I think it was Buzz Lightyear if I recall correctly) which I sold about a year or so ago.

Here's some gameplay of one of the 4-player races we had earlier today. There's less crashing than in the announcement video so it may not be as entertaining. :lol:
