Sorry for the upcoming long explanation. Driving Strikers is a upcoming Dreamcast game similar to Rocket League that players will be able to play online. The lan adapter, also know as HIT-300: "Dreamcast LAN Adapter" is a separate Dreamcast peripheral than the Dreamcast Broadband Adapter (bba) that is sometimes mistaken for it and vice versa since both adapters have "LAN" where "LINE" is at on the Dreamcast modem. Sega gave them different model codes: Lan is HIT-3000 and BBA is HIT-4000. The lan adapter currently does not support any games until Driving Strikers. Using a Raspberry Pi with the Dreampi software is an alternative way to play Dreamcast online but it is unrelated to the lan adapter.

RaspberryPi with DreamPi will serve not only the modem but now also the BBA/LAN Adapter under an add-on software called BBA Mode. :)

I have been ADAMANT in not wanting to leave the LAN adapter behind in this scene, given the fact KOS support is already there. I think that would be a huge mistake and that we should be supporting everything we can, even if Sega really didn't.

That being said, I'm so stoke that it looks like it already just works! I plan to help keep an eye out for that driver and help support it in the future once mine comes in the mail! I think it's a huge deal, and I'm so glad Strikers looks like it'll support it!

It's so cool that you're still in doubt, I just connected to Driving Strikes with a LAN Adapter, yes. :D , Oh well, I hope still in final version lol
This is awesome. Nice find ;)
