Can you play PSO online with another Dreamcast?

I think my trusty PAL Dreamcast’s laser is on the way out as it seemed to be struggling to read discs last night.

If I were to get another Dreamcast would I still be able to play PSO with my current character and save via DreamPi?

Yes, providing the other dc doesn’t already have a pso account locked to the motherboard, in which case you’ll have to flash it

I’ve just ordered a replacement DC on eBay. If there is PSO data attached to the replacement DC, how do I go about deleting/flashing it?
