Thanks for everyones comments on help guide with AFO
I am now a master of my router with setting up DMZ and Port forwarding :)

Does anyone know what im doing wrong
I get this message after connection

I have configured DMZ to dreamcast ip, im just not sure if my timming is bad and server is down, or its a problem at my end.

You are using dreampi version 1.5 right? Thats the message you would typically get if you were using an older version

Like Xiden says, that looks like your not using dreampi 1.5?

Also I need to ask, what setup do you have? I see a lot of
timeout and disconnects from your part on multiple servers/games.

So you should check your setup for better gaming experience :)

After changing the dial out number to 7 digits and enabling port forwarding on my router, I can play AFO online with my PC-DC server; the iptables rule was added before I ran into some other problems. It is great to have another online DC game resurrected.

Hopefully others will benefit from your experience and thanks for taking our advice! More games to come :-)

UGB I saw you connect tonight and tried to join the game and when it loaded up you wasnt there. I got excited because i havent played with anyone since last week and have been playing alone to see if anyone shows up. I think the problem is with the dmz settings. On day one i tried to connect without setting dmz and it would do the same and i just turned on the setting on my fios router and have been playing every night since last week. You might be routing the wrong ip address.

You could also try just plugging the pi directly to your modem. That also works for me too

That is what was happening to me before I enabled port forwarding. Make sure you enable port forwarding or DMZ for your assigned Dreamcast IP address and not the IP address for your Raspberry Pi.
