Thanks to you guys for keeping the dream even more alive
We need to talk about integrating PR to Dreamcast Now if you'd like. And to get the voip fix.
Dreampi would do just fine I think for that so as to avoid the user any hassle.

Dreamcast now integration is easy, I can sort that soon!
The IP stuff is a little trickier, I'll add it to my list

Well, there's an already implemented way. I guess it would have to be redone in python? and adapted so that the user does not have to do anything.
Nice try you fool! lol BBQ!

Re: ChuChu Rocket! Is Back Online!
Apparently, there's a minor problem with handling chat messages with the "status" box. When you refresh it while the chat is active, it can happen the last words can be written after the "X players in the room".
Also, in a case of a timeout, it seems the server doesn't handle it very well.

By the way, why wouldn't the project go on github, for further testing?

Sorry, what solution? To be honest I'm not certain what the problem is, but I thought it was that the Dreamcast gets a local network IP rather than the external isp given IP?Neoblast wrote:Well, there's an already implemented way. Is Chu Chu Rocket Dial-up (DreamPi) only or will it work with a BBA?

Re: ChuChu Rocket! Is Back Online!
Chu Chu Rocket came out long before the BBA left the drawing board so it's strictly dialup. Hen Gamespot actually had a TV show, Adam Sessler stated that the BBA would be a future proof plan that would come out later on in the Dreamcast lifetime when Chu Chu Rocket was in it's early beta stages. So assume anything before February of 2001 to run on dial up as the only option (excluding a handful of games like PSO and Toy Racer).
I wouldn't mind doing so just so we can warm up for the actual event.pcwzrd13 wrote:Anyone interested in playing for about an hour before PSO on Saturday?
