Hi, gokaiblue. DMZ is a special setting in your router. Depending on your make/model/year, there is a menu you can access to set your DMZ. If you post your router make & model, we can look up the menu settings and help you set your DMZ. 99.5% of the time, this is easy and we can walk you thru it.
To explain DMZ, this is a router setting that allows a device to bypass the router firewall. The nice thing is that it does not affect anything else in your home, so this is transparent to all of your home devices. Doing this will ensure the best possible connection you can have with your RaspberryPi (running DreamPi).
