Hi everyone, I'm new to modding the dreamcast, i have modded other consoles before. i have decent soldering skills, but not really savy when it comes to understanding the electrical side of things. I have a v0 dreamcast, which upon reading about it, learned that the voltage is too high and could potentially ruin the gdemu. i did some digging, and saw the work around with replacing the 7 transistors on the motherboard, which i can do, no problem. However, i thought about it, and maybe it might be easier, if possible, to just solder in a 5v to 3.3v step down converter? is this possible? would anyone know if so? and where to solder it in?
Thanks

no that won't help.
either replacing five resistor assemblies, or replacing bootrom and flashrom
