Surprisingly, modern Sonic's levels are the more impressive and fun and, while low-speed control is still clumsy, the wealth of quality action scenes cherry-picked from the past two decades make the overwhelming majority of Sonic Generations an absolute blast."

And reviews are usually hard on SEGA, so this means it is probably a ranking on 9! This game might turn out pretty good!
I'm still waiting for Gamespot's review. I hate GS, they take too damn long to upload Sonic reviews and when they do, its lackluster and they can never justify why.

GI reviewers and editors have thier heads shoved far up thier asses. They are known to be extremely bias and are heavy FPS fanboys.
What else do you expect from a game magazine owned by a Monopolized Game retailer who doesn't give a shit about games, doesn't care about quality, doesn't know how to sell games and only cares about money.
@MrSega I also remember reading an article of theirs in which they completely bagged on Shenmue, and if I remember right they said it was a "disaster", or something along those lines. After I read that I knew to take Gameinformer's reviews with a grain of salt.
I I really don't give a shit about most mainstream reviews...what I look for are user reviews tbh...game magazines r usually to heavily focused on graphics these days for one...and also think about how high they rated mw2 for its multi player when it was a bug riddled mess...nothing says broken like being sniped by a guy hiding IN a rock...
just got it for pc seems alright i think i would prefer it on my 3ds though

I also recall them being VERY biased toward Sonic Adventure.
