The first SEGA patent was issued in 2010 and is now being reissued. I could have sworn the patent they just filed a few days ago was filed originally back in 2009.

Both the reissuing and refiling of the patents indicate further development and retooling is taking place. Which is a good thing.

The funny thing is, this 2012 reissued patent from 2009 was supposidly Dreamcast related, but it were, it wouldn't be reiussed would it? Nope. Dreamcast's patents are under SEGA Enterprises.

This indicates that were' leading to something interesting.
