GAME IDEA Sonic games or ports from newer systems

I fell like sonic homebrew appearance is just nothing so i am giving people with more skill then me a idea of like sonic 06 on dreamcast.
I know hardware limits are a thing so we have to scrap somethings.

No Sonic homebrew because you can't just use someone's IP without their permission. C&D

A 3d platforming game on the Dreamcast would be a welcome change of pace from the 2d shooters that have trickled out over the last decade, but the amount of work it would take seems impractical. And considering the potential legal ramifications that could destroy a more modern-style Sonic homebrew, I just don't see it happening. For IP trademark infringements, it's Sega's responsibility to defend them or else they could potentially lose them entirely. They walk a fairly fine line with being cool with certain types of homebrew - like rom hacks and the like.
