I ran across a russian site a while back that is creating Counter Strike on DC using the Half life engine and files I believe.

You can actually download the demo realeases and play. It's pretty fun.

I belive beta 4 you need to half life for dreamcast already. But, beta 3 is a bootable .cdi you can burn and play on your DC without half life. Just use Discjuggler program: http://www.padus.com/downloads/demo.php to burn the cd image onto a disc.

I wonder how they came across making it possibl;e
to make Counter Striker using the Half Wit engine...

To play the other maps you need a keyboard i believe

No , you don`t need at all now !

I did not get the game to go beyond extracting. The problem I had is the WinRAR files. I do not remember how to "un-archive" these pieces. I did not get to play it.

Typically, I convert cdi to nrg files to use Nero. I do not have a working copy of DiskJuggler (serial req'd).

To extract it properly you have to click and drag over all the winrar (make sure to have winrar installed) files to select them and then right click one of the files and click extract files, then click ok. There will be another folder there and it will include the cdi image.

It will be mdf ,mds image !
Use Alcohol 120% to burn it .

What an amazing game, & omg, the graphics are just...
WOWWWWW. Now, if Dobbs and I could only find out where
the hostages are in the first level. haha!
