[hardware mod] cooling

recommended only for experienced modders

step 1: remove the 4 phillips head screws at the bottom
step 2: remove the top
step 3: place two fans on the side
step 4: place a Integral 16gig USB memory stick (8gig should work but 32 is overdoing it) in between the drive and the thingy that makes the dreamcast think its opened or closed. see attached picture.
step nyaaa: this is a joke.

but still, it works lol.

That's a beast man! lol DC will never overheat again. I can't think of one time that my stock DC has overheated but, I suppose marathon PSO sessions could do it.

In 240Hz mode it overheats in just a few minutes and shuts itself down. This is how far I had to go to counter that... lol
