Better, actually! Some quality was lost in the conversion to gifs. The Dreamcast also has its limitations, but generally speaking the colors should be better (gif = 256 total, DC = 256 per texture) and the frame rate much higher (about 25 fps for the gifs, DC = 50 or 60 fps).

I've attached a screenshot that shows exactly what the game currently looks like on the Dreamcast. Note the difference in color, especially in the rocks in the background.

To be honest, I never used to notice it much until I started watching Game Sack. They point it out a lot in games. But once you do pay attention, it can make a huge difference.
