I can't get it to work on GDEMU. Buttons are not responsive at the start menu.

It's Strange. My GDEMU is not work, so i not tested on it. I tested it on RetroDream and buttons work fine.

When I try to play it it will show a brief "Press Y for 60HZ" option and go away before I can press it, even if I spam Y it won't go into 60 and I can't play it.

Do you play with a hdmi cable or perhaps even vga ? If so you don't need to worry about 60hz 50hz

I use RCA, but I did try it with a cheapo low quality hdmi box converter and still nothing. When I tried to plug it into my projector with my tiny av cable adapter it went black and white and a little off center. I use my CRT for playing on my Dreamcast though, so even then it wouldn't matter- it's only got coax and RCA.
