I'm not saying a new game on an SD card isn't a "real" product, they could make the final product à la NDS box/cart (which would be awesome imo). however as said before the bloody thing is just too slow

It would be super cool as the age old problem of dying GD Drives is creeping up on all of us, but I guess until they work out a faster way, CD is the way to go.

I personally think Polyko was the perfect example of releasing a game on SD for say, £9.99 with a cardboard box.... I would have loved that!

yeah. I'm sure I would have bit as well. Though the "giving it away free with printable artwork" method was nice as well. :)

Personally I wish GoatStore would just focus on DC and start cranking out retail releases. Or maybe some other small US publisher. They're not using GD-ROMs, so I imagine that really production is relatively cheap right?

I totally agree, I'd like to see Goat release some budget Dreamcast games like Donk or some other puzzle games, they are hard at work on Scourge currently though so I guess that 's why they aren't seeming active.

Hopefully Project-Firestorm have enough interest for their puzzle game and they release the three or so other concepts they have on their Facebook page!

On a side note, is anyone interested in an interview with the DD guys on the front page of this site?

There is also one problem with the sd card : the fat library isn't open source.

That's why the sd card library is not in the official KOS repository.

Other, we're near to 100 fans on our Facebook page !! Thanks a lot, it really gives motivation !!!
For a french news ( http://allgamers.fr/des-nouvelles-de-dy ... dreamcast/ ), I made new Work in Progress screenshots, so here are them for you :

We're adding animations. For example, on the military map, we're adding planes which quickly flies above the map.

We're improving the menu, by giving them the same style as others, and we're adding more custom options.

This is excellent to hear. I am a huge fan of your work and its distinctive style and had my eye on Dynamite Dreams for the last few years but assumed it had disappeared (despite showing so much promise) so this is totally fantastic news and has really made my day. Thank you. I wish you and the team all the best and keep up the good work. The screens you have shown look superb and I look forward to further updates. Keep Dreaming Forever :-)
