Just wanted to let you know that there is yet another game in development for the Dreamcast. It is still in a very early stage, but at least I have something to show off some of my (gameplay) ideas.
What is already implemented:
1. 3rd person camera, character animation, basic platforming and edge grabbing\climbing.
generic test level.
3. Over the shoulder view\aiming.
also, concept of one of the possible levels:
======================================= All of the above is WIP and possible subject to change.
The game is about 10% completed right now. There is still a LOT of work ahead. No quarantees that it will be finished. In the worst case, I'll just release whatever I have at the time in an "as is" state. Also, there might be a playable demo for DCJAM 2016.
PS: is "spoiler' tag broken or something? I also tried "spoil" tag, but it is not opening when clicked. But whatever.

I am aware of that, but honestly I don't really need any of those. The game is supposed to be played from a regular CD, just like the others, so I'll have to make sure it runs smoothly in such a case (loading times etc) SD adapter might be a good idea though, since it's much slower, but we'll see.
I'll take it into consideration, thanks. But personally, I think it's a bit too early to build hype now (not that I have facebook account anyway). I usually don't reveal projects unless they are mostly done, but this time I made an exception, because either way, you will get something playable eventually , be it a finished game or just some tech demo.
Also, there are various problems and limits with KGL (an OpenGL implementation for KallisiOS). So far, I managed to find workarounds for most cases, but there is still a lot to test before I can safely say that everything is stable and ready for production.
