I'm a couple semesters away from getting a BS in Computer Engineering. I've been a huge Sega Genesis fan for some time and created a couple homebrew games not really worth playing. I was really eager for XBand to come back online but eventually accepted that that's not going to happen so my wife got me a Dreamcast for Christmas
I've been playing online actively for the last couple weeks.Alien Front Online is my favorite game so far and I really enjoy the community. I'd love to assist if there's anything I could do to assist in supporting Dreamcast Live besides the little bit I can afford to contribute to the Patreon. Most of my education has been about low-level programming and hardware design down to the transistor level but I'd love to learn other stuff if I knew where to start
