Back lurking and AMAZED!

Post by EdLyne »

So, hadn't touched my Dreamcast in YEARS, until this last weekend. Last kept up with things when widescreen hacks were being generated on AssemblerGames and GDemu was new (got one).

Dusted her off and was messing about with different SD cards and the version of GDmenu I had 2 computers ago. All good.

But now I check on here and around the Interwebs... ATOMISWAVE FULL CATALOG WORKING?!? BANGAI-O VGA PATCH?!? LACK OF LOVE 100% TRANSLATED?!?

Never thought I'd see any of these things! I mean, I expected more original shooters getting published, I guess 3rd party controllers isn't too surprising either, but I have to say the Dreamcast community has outdone itself!

WHAT ELSE HAVEN'T I SEEN THAT'S BEEN AWESOME IN THE LAST 5+ YEARS I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?!?

Pretty epic stuff! Hopefully the Amiga Collection has the stuff I remember fondly (Bitmap Brothers and Sensible Software stuff, and Super Skidmarks), AM ON IT NOW!

I played Karous on the weekend smashing my way through JP menus pretending like I understood anything, so next time will be a relief!

CHEERS!

There is so much more thats happened but I will let you gradually get to it. I don't want to overwhelm you. If you get the chance look in the downloads section. There is a large collection of stuff there to look thru.

Let's not forget the almost 100% completed games that were discovered on old dev kits such as Dee Dee Planet, Internet Game Pack (both have online functions fully restored!), and Millennium Racers Y2K Fighters which was a fully completed port of the PC game with some of the slickest 60fps graphics and game play.
