Etsy - Shenmue 2

Post by BloodBrother »

I stumbled across these english translated Shenmue 2 reproductions on Etsy. I am eager to play the Shenmues, but don't want to start them until i have both to play.

I am curious to know if anyone has one? Is the voice dub ripped from the Shenmue 2 xbox version? Is the quality acceptable? Thanks for commenting :)

If its the 99m CD version of the game audio is pretty dang good
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skQWRvuLK5I - Example (He's recording off tv fyi)

If its 80m version its still not too bad but its certainly down sampled voice audio, it didnt bother me too much.

I played the 80min Cd version (yes, with Xbox audio) and loved it. My musician ears can adjust/filter, so I do not feel it's "bad". It was a great job by one of our long time members, Smith, who put that together.

No offense, but personally I find it absolutely stupid to pay for what is just an illegal copy of a game on CD-Rs -- especially with how much that guy is charging for that game.

There is NO way that is worth anywhere near $40. Not to mention how illegal it is for him to be selling that (or anyone to be buying it, for that matter).

I agree 40 seams a bit high. But for nice printed discs and a quality case/manual I would pay for it.

My 2 cents

Let me rephrase that. I would be willing to pay for a nice copy. Not the 40 dollars though.

The guys that pay $$$$$$$ for fake copies of games are the same guys that put fake Type R stickers on their Hondas and put fake M badges on their base model Bimmers.

LoL And I second that.. Just download and burn it. Feel sorry for people who pay money for a burned game. If you cant afford to have real collections, nobodys goingto be impressed at a shelf full of fake games. Your better off Spending any amount of money on a giant spindle of CDR's.

Hell I actually give props to the guys who are making these repros and getting away with profiting off of other peoples stupidity. Who knew!?
