Re: Elysian Shadows
Falco just posted this on Facebook:

It was originally going to be a secret, but I can't contain my excitement... Yesterday, before collapsing from exhaustion into a 17+-hour chemically induced coma, Elysian Shadows just became a 4 player local multiplayer game... Let the party begin.

Damn, it is awesome! They have no choice now but adding online multiplayer feature.

Re: Elysian Shadows
Did anyone else read through the massive Kickstarter update that was just sent out?
For those that haven't, in a nutshell, Falco explained what happened with the team member they lost. Needless to say they won't meet their original release date of this month because of it, with no new release date announced. However he says things are back on track and provided a few screenshots of how he was able to refine the combat and analog movement.
The big addition though is that the game, yes the Dreamcast version too, will have four-player local co-op a la Secret of Mana. But the camera will move as the characters move, and it sounded like it's similar to how LEGO games have their camera zoom in and out depending on the proximity of the players to each other.
He also said he's waiting for confirmation to announce something else, and that another Kickstarter update will follow when he can announce it.
I personally never doubted the team's commitment as a whole, and if everything turns out as well as Pier Solar HD has, then the delays will be worth it.

Honestly i was one of unbelievers. When Falco posted for a first time about ES at http://dcnews.co.uk/ in 2008 or so, i was very skeptical about the project since there were and there are a lot of Dreamcast game that never came out or evem made it to something... real. Yes i was wrong and i started to show my support within last several years and of course made a good pledge at kickstarter.

Re: Elysian Shadows
Is this game shooting for a 2016 release or are we in a "when its done" timeline now? I have full faith in this project but i know the team hit quite a few unexpectes problems so far.
