This Kickstarter will be funded in the next couple of days, no doubt. I haven't pledge yet but that's only because I haven't decided if I want a custom character. If the devs may be reading this, is our name included with the character too? Otherwise I can't really see how you tell our character apart from the other characters.

That light is a pretty cool accessory.

Useful that's for sure, but seems weird to me they would make a new accessory (or mod a rumble pack, judging by the picture) rather than simply mod a VMU by making it backlit. I mean it has been done already and proven to work:

I know nothing of hardware modding, but the backlit mod seems the simpler solution to me anyway.

On the KS page they said in a comment they do have strecth goals planned, apparently just didn't reveal them yet.

First of all, a huge thanks to all backers here !! The dreamcast community is so incredible !

@Nico0020 : yes, we have stretch goals. The first on will be online soon. But honestly, we are amazed by this so great start !

@ DCGX : Yes your name will be included (except if it's copyrighted). I will generate a cheatcode for your character (example : up up down down left right left right a b) and then your character appears on the "character selection " screen.
Example : (i'm currently working on the characters, it's a real ingame screenshot)

@Tarnish : honestly, we thought about backlight. But we totally don't know how many people will back for it.
It's not so easy, so we prefered to propose an external solution.

Backed! Went for the pics of yourself character in game and light mod as I have been watching this one one and off for years and played the Alice Dreams game loads back in the day. Great stuff and glad to see the support for the game.

@Wrath of Khan : yes, it will be sold after the Kickstarter campaign. But there is great interest in buying now on Kickstarter: whatever your contribution, we will add your name in the credits of the game; and the cover of the game will be exclusive and special to Kickstarter, so that it will make this version more rare.
