CrazySonic problems...

Remember that weird Sonic hack from SHC that combined Sonic 1 with CrazyBus? Yeah. CrazySonic. So, I got it, 'cuz I wanted to try it out. And because my brothers love the AVGN's "CrazyBus" episode (more specifically the part that starts at 3:13): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzt_uoTVAcE

I got the July 28th demo version that he put out before the SHC.

So, I opened the file in my Gens Revision 7 emulator. It shows the Sega logo and the title screen (ear rape intact), but when I pressed Start, the screen just went black. I've seen gameplay videos online where the screen goes black for a couple of seconds, then goes to the Level Select screen, but mine just stays on the black screen. I waited, like, 20 minutes, and still, black screen. No music. Just black screen. I don't know why this happens. Is it the emulator? Is it the ROM itself? Is it my crappy computer from 2003?

I have no clue. Could you guys help me out here?

I've heard about Kega Fusion, yes. I'll give it a try later.

I got the actual SHC version now, and it's working fine with Gens. My brother loved the new features.
