According to Josh Prod (Dreamcast producer of Dux 1.5 (reprint), TGB (reprint), Alice MR 1.5, Breakers, Rush Rush Rally Reloaded) says that Hucast has definitely sold the rights of Redux 2 :( , read more (in french) : http://dreamcast-news.blogspot.fr/2017/ ... -prod.html

Indeed. But ceded to who? He also says rene likes the dc too much to forsake it. You might imagine hucast could actually tell their pre-orderers about such a thing? Not a chance. If its true.

I remember one interview with Hucast they indicated that they seemed to sell less and less with each dreamcast release. Their take on it was that the DC fanbase was reducing over time. This interview was from years ago so i wouldn't be surprised that they are stepping out of DC development and trying to do something new.
