Was wondering if anyone has made a GDI rip of the final version of this web browser, the only versions out there have issues that constantly make it crash and almost unusable (Even dans http://www.dreamcast-talk.com/forum/vie ... =22&t=8209) No GDI rip exists anywhere on the internet, not even in this big collection http://www.dreamcast-talk.com/forum/vie ... =2&t=10412.
I know Bob had a copy but i was wondering if anyone could make a rip of it with the BBA or Dreamshell. Thanks :D
Edit: By the way has anyone got any of the web browser to work in dreamshell? thanks

If you have something that can run dreamshell than you can rip it from there. If not then this is a good guide http://dcemulation.org/dumpcast/viewtopic.php?t=153

here is a video too

thanks to you too bob, so i have determend that using the cdi versions out there wont do it. Seems to contently crash every time i recompile it so im going to have to go to the terrible world of GDI to CDI. If anyone who has more experiences converting GDI to CDi then if you can can you send me any tips :P Its been a while since i have done it, going to try one more thing with the cdi before i have to start messing around with the gdi 8-)

Send me a message or reply here. I'd be glad to help you out. I'm not a wizard but I have a consistent setup right now.

What do you need help with? I'll be out of town over the weekend but I'll snag a copy of the GDI for checking and diagnosing with you over the weekend

Just so the correspondence is transparent and archived.

Ok so just so I understand your goal.
2 points:
1. Make a new GDI with modified files that boots (I can only test on emulators, although they emulate this correctly)
2. Make a selfboot cdi with modified files (I am pretty good at this)

Right?

I'll be starting with "Planetweb Internet Browser V3.0 for Dreamcast v3.040 (2001)(Planetweb)(NTSC)(US)[!]"

First off I'll just get an unmodified version working and go from there.
