I've been following this for a while now, though I've yet to see Crystal Frost. It does look very good.
I almost kind of agree. Turning this into a new game instead of a Sonic X-treme remake would be more interesting.

XL2 had started some of these levels about a week ago and was contacted by a convention saying they wanted a demo to show off, so XL2 made this in 3 days!

The movement is silky smooth, though the graphics load in and out worse than the release games. That being said this has had little polish I'd expect per title.
I'd be interested to see it working on real hardware. It's impressive.
