Run the command below on your RaspberryPi command line to have Daytona detected on Dreamcast Now, after being connected to the game:
ping -c 10 daytona.web.dreamcast.com
If I may, I would like to comment here on the progress of detection on Dreamcast Now that I have been following in private conversations.

1# Kazade implemented the necessary resources to detect the Daytona a few days ago, meaning it is now ready to show the game.

2# Now it is necessary to wait until other development is completed on the Daytona server itself, so that the detection is automatic, in the same way as it was developed by Shuouma for the IGP, Monaco and POD games. (Game Server > DCNow)

3# I suggested to Kazade to use the Daytona website address as an alternative source of detection, so it is implemented that the domain "daytona.web.dreamcast.com", if contacted, will also detect the game on Now, this is because the DreamPi detects this movement and sends it to DCNow (DreamPi > DCNow). The Daytona's internal browser requests this address when connected, however the Online Multiplayer mode does not request any address/domain, which is why it depends on the action being taken on the server side (Game Server > DCNow).

4# While we wait for topic 2#, it is possible to have the game detected thanks to point 3#, performing a domain query from within Raspberry (ping), after having connected to the game.

Hi all,

Just wondering if you are able to play Daytona using the Japanese version of the game?

Hey

I have now during my christmas vacation been coding a IWANGO JP server (thnx ION for starting this).
Sadly, if you want to play the game(s) you need my patched versions to avoid the auth dricas check.

But Daytona JP is coming back and yes 2024 is the year of JP games I guess.

Nice. Last time I worked on IWANGO I was figuring out the Sega Tetris "ExtraUserMem" data.

Had another look at it and it seems I always get a new perspective walking away from a project for a bit. Figured out the full data structure and the Get/Register packets.
