Man that's a cool little setup. I've recently purchased the HOTD 2 JP gun bundle, but my light gun hasn't worked for me so far :/
I was told to try a cable swap so waiting for another DC controller to come in the mail so I can part it out.

Here are some images of my Dreamcast setup taken on my phone. I've had the DC connected to my main TV since I first had in back in 1999, but the DC and equipment has evolved over the years. I will show the controllers and peripherals separately.
Dreamcast
Translucent black case
TerraOnion MODE (500GB SSD + 16GB SD card)
DC-HDMI (PCM stereo / Full RGB colour / 960p in 1080p window)
Dream PSU
Noctua fan
Blue power LED
Audio
HDMI cable from Dreamcast to Denon AVC-X4700H amp.
I usually play audio either as stereo + sub or I use the amp to upmix to full Dolby Surround, either way it sounds great.
Video processing is basically switched off, I have it configured as a game input to minimise signal delay which is passed through to the TV.
Focal Chora 826-D Dolby Atmos front speakers
Focal Chora Center speaker
Mission 70DS surround speakers
SVS SB-1000 Pro subwoofer
TV Screen
HDMI cable from amp to 65" LG C2 4K OLED.
I play in game mode for the fastest response time, the TV scales the 1080p signal to 4K.
I sit about 10 feet from the screen so until recently I had to use extension cables to play using the original controllers. I now have a couple Retro Fighters Striker DC controllers with the longer cables and a DreamConn wireless controller.

Probably going to get a PC CRT so I can check out VGA in person, but here's my setup right now over S-Video!

recently lubed the stick and alps switches in the hkt 7300 with krytox205g0. the feel is still exceptional after a week of moderate use. krytox205g0 is often used to lube mechanical keyboard switches. the hkt 7300 has alps switches which are common in vintage mechanical keyboards. as for the stick; use krytox at your own risk. with time i'll be certain that it's ok to use, but for now i'm only guessing.

Some very nice setups in here. I had my DC recently restored with the capacitors replaced and GDEMU added. Just bought at CRT so that I can enjoy light gun games again.

Last year I said I was going to post pictures of my controllers and peripherals. Well I've actually got around to it, the only thing that isn't pictured is the official Samba de Amigo controllers which I have in storage.
I have 11 controllers, 5x OEM, 3x wired StrikerDC, 2x wireless StrikerDC and one DreamConn+ wireless controller. I also have 4x OEM vibration packs.
I have the OEM arcade stick, keyboard and mouse, LightConn and 8x VMUs (10 if you include the one built into the DreamConn+ and LightConn). Having the built in VMU in the LightConn is great as you can use a vibration pack instead of having to choose one or the other due to the single port.
MadCatz MC2 Racing wheel and pedals.
OEM Race controller.
