NBA 2K1 Mod/Hacking Question

I wanted to know if it was possible to or get an understanding if I would somehow be able to edit players by giving them headbands and other different equipments, and edit their positions (example: changing Vince Carter from a Shooting Guard to a Small Forward and giving a headband to players like Baron Davis, Darius Miles), and etc. Thank you!
