1. Do not shake maracas close to the ground.

The sensor cannot read accurately if the maracas are placed only 60cm from the ground. When you shake it down, be careful not to do it too low! |

2. Spacing with maracas

If the maracas are spread too far apart, they may hit people or objects, which can be dangerous. Too close to each other, the position will still be offset. Find the right balance! |

3. Maracas reaction areas

Maracas reaction areas are actually concentric circles (red at the top, yellow in the middle, and green at the bottom), as shown in the picture. Be careful not to move too far from mat footprints as the height could change! |

4. Orientation of maracas

According to information from a certain Sonic Team member, holding the maracas with the sensor facing forward, as shown in the photo, is the best way to hold them!

5. Check if cable is unplugged

Sometimes, especially after a long day of gaming, the cable may start starts to come loose from the base unit. Check it out if your maracas aren't responding! |
