Just saw this decompilation project where they now have jak 1 running natively on pc and was wondering what the likelihood of the code being usable for other consoles? I’m not sure what language they used but I thought it was cool and figured some developers might want to take a look and see if it’s possible to run on Dreamcast or other consoles as well!

Re: Jak and daxter source code decompilation project
It would really be amazing and would affirm the Dreamcast as a strong sixth-generation competitor:

But I think it's easier for the Dreamcast to run mario sunshine than this game there. The maps are huge and very detailed, unmatched by anything seen on the Dreamcast, perhaps in Sonic Aventure 1.

Re: Jak and daxter source code decompilation project
The Dreamcast would implode trying to render that many triangles.
Maybe a poc using a small section could run but I wouldn't hold my breath
