The Rise & Fall Of Sega World Sydney

I've posted this on another DC forum but I thought I'd repost it here. It's an article on the rise and fall of the famous Segaworld in Sydney, Australia.

And here's a video of the original dome building being pulled down in 2008:(

Couldn't such an iconic building be reused for something else? :-/

Wish I would've found out about this at some point in the past. But I didn't. Still seems like it'd be cool, though Sega funding a theme park is just a wee bit weird to me. (Probably to most people)

Yeah, but apparently they will do the same with the new Orbi museum that they will be creating in conjunction with National Geographic, or whatever that is.

Orbi Earth is a Musuem/Arcade hybrid formed through a joint venture between SEGA and BBC Earth Worldwide,LTD

BTW, SEGA just issued a IR statement that their selling off their "Panchinko Manufacturing" business.

Which means they'll start funding other things.
