Gamecube Lable on Top Is Cracking. Any Fix?

Hi. Has there been an issue with Gamecube disk label cracking (even if they're take cared of)? It's Made in USA and it's similar to this cracking label (that's not my photo):

If someone has the same problem, how can it be fixed? What causes the label cracking?

Thank you.

God bless, Rev. 21:4

I say that the game is now junk. I would think it would have been rapid climate changes and weather that would cause that.

Hi. Thanks. It runs fine though. Thankfully enough I read the data is not embedded in the label much like Dreamcast games (rots- those tiny holes in the lable). I'm just worried it could peel especially inside an early batch Wii and ruin the lens. I was wondering if one could use those film protectors but instead of putting on the shiny silver side, it's put onto the label. It might be better if I put it on both sides but it might be too thick for the Wii to eject or take in.

The label it's like paint cracking. I probably should just buy a US version Wii or mod my japanese one (but no time for things like that- work).

Recommendations are welcome. Thank you.
God bless, Cor. 13
