Emuxtras definitely. A few old timers there from TIZ days too.

My use was playing Stepmania with Xbox dancepads. Some Halo Custom Edition mods were forgettable. The real draw for me was installing games on the hard drive with fast load times.

Just did a re skin on mine, I’m a huge sucker for Tron
Ripped the audio from the movie as background music, voice samples for button actions & even disc samples for cursor sounds. All with custom icons for the emulators, to keep it minimalist. Still need to add a few other emulators & I’m done for this project.

I love seeing stuff like this, it looks great. My original Xbox completely died on me a few years back, but I spent weeks customizing it to my liking. By the time I was done with it I had the original trailers for games (failing that, snippets of gameplay) playing on the dashboard as you would scroll through the titles. I was so happy with that Xbox and so upset when it died. The only thing that lessened that loss was when Stubbs the Zombie got ported to modern consoles
I'll buy another eventually

When I have a box that I’m really happy about, I just make a backup of its root folder tree (I keep as much of my stuff like. Emulators & roms on the F drive so it is very easy to distinguish from the rest) so if the box dies, I just have to copy all that shit to a new one and it just works. I also backup the udata/tdata every so often for the same reasons.
If you do this, it’ll only take an hour or 2 at most, to set it all up again when needed
