Original XBOX Design Fault: Clock Capacitor Failure

I found this video online and out of my 4 XBOX's, one had this problem (my original one from 2004. Therefore I removed the capacitor completely. Wondering if I should bother replacing it with a supercap?

Did they ever make a smaller revision of the original xbox? I don't really remember anymore. The Original xbox era went by really fast in retrospect.

No, the original Xbox only has one carcass model.

A Xbox slim version was made by a fan project though: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=661555 .
