I have always been curious about what games people play now that they didn't play when the dc was relevant. Or maybe what games do you love now but you just wouldn't have picked up back then?

For me when the system was new I wanted sonic adventure, army men,and all things star wars, and of course doa and soul calibur. NOw though games like zero gunner and kof are some of my favorites. These days I play much more Japanese games then I ever did back then. I never would have played pso or skies of Acadia but love them now. Street fighter I hated then but now play often and I never would have bought soul fighter but today it's one of my fave same with blue stinger.

Just curious if anyone else has similar stories??

For me this must be Hydro Thunder, during the Dreamcast's hey-day I never bothered with that one. But man o man, this game is epic, glad that I eventually gave this game a spin.

Aqua GT is good too, but not as arcadey as Hydro Thunder.

I didn't know anybody that had the first one back in the day and I only beat 1 and 2 right before they announced the kickstarter for 3

Actually I only best the second one shortly before 3 was announced as well

Demolition racer no exit for me. I never had it back in the day though. I was stuck playing it on the ps1...

Many fifth gen games broke free and went to our holy Dreamcast to really stand out .. it's just like what they truly envisioned no sacrifices
