I have a lot of the content for the Dreamcast side of things on my backup HDD. However I didn't grab the CDI stuff. I have only GDI images.

If there is any particular homebrew stuff you want I most likely have it.

However you might already have that.

super mario all stars 5 yoshis adventures continues was just 20 random super mario world hacks, and Curse of Monkey Island ScummDC was just an unofficial port to the dreamcast, so thankfully nothing was truly lost in that regard but if you had them that'd be great

Interestingly I found a listing for super mario all stars 5 on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/628025626/ ... adventures

But paying $17 bucks for a burned homebrew hack game...yeah, just no. Haven't seen a single link or posting about it other than that Etsy link which is weird.

Again not sure if this wasn't seen but there are premade .cdi's with varioous emulators here for the DC. It is far from complete though.

The lack of courtesy, the rampant bootlegging, and general copyright infringement are why I have issues taking any DC homebrew scene seriously.

Thanks for your valued input there stranger. I mean, it's not like Sega, or the original developers are getting any of the money from 2nd hand retail games lmfao. Why does it matter what others do at this point?

Also, I should mention that, the DC "scene" doesn't exist, it is a community. And, homebrew and retail indie games are considered 2 different things. Homebrew is free and released for free. Indie games are sold and that money actually goes to a real person. As such, you will never see us hosting or posting indies retail games here. The DC community at large has done a pretty good job by respecting Indie developers and not posting their games on their sites. We didn't allow it over at TIZ ever when I was a moderator there, and this forum doesn't allow it either.

The Indie developers regularly post here and many of us are good friends with them. If we posted their games here, it would be like committing Seppuku, killing ourselves as it were. We love the Indie community and wouldn't dare compromise that.

Retail games that are on a discontinued 20 year old system where NONE of the developers ever get our money from 2nd hand sales just like happens with GameStop? Mh, yeah not so much.
