I was wondering about if there was any new info on the development of the homemade bba? I heard about it on youtube in 2014 and never heard a word since. Is it still in the works?
Any info on Unofficial Dreamcast Broadband Adapter In Development?

Cheaper option for those who don't have one, or have official bba go bad.mrneo240 wrote:For what reason would it be needed?

Re: Any info on Unofficial Dreamcast Broadband Adapter In Development?
That wasn't really a homebrew Broadband Adapter, but rather something very much akin to DreamPi -- it still was basically just a way of rigging the Dreamcast modem up to use something else's ethernet connection.
I don't think the guy who was doing it ever was planning on selling any sort of pre-made kits or anything, but I could be wrong.
In the end, the DreamPi is probably an easier solution anyway...

Yeah that's a safe bet, better off buying a real bba or better yet a DreamPi so you can play all the games that are currently online

It's the best thing ever! It bring's your Dreamcast alive again, you can play online again. 13 games are currently back online and 1 of them has there online features back "Sonic Adventure"RandySlim76 wrote:Now I gotta look up what a DreamPi is. [emoji3][emoji106]
You can buy your own DreamPi kit here so you don't have to make it yourself, there are to models the standard kit has no wifi and the DreamPi kit 3 does that's why it cost more. http://www.dreamcastlive.net/shop.html
