Your Dreamcast Stories

Post about funny/sad/angry experiences with your Dreamcast.

One day, I plugged in a gun for House of the Dead 2 and all the suddenly none of the controllers worked. I restarted the console and still no response, so I called Sega *This was in 2002 by the way* and asked if they could fix my console. They said that they could not fix it, but could send me a new one. So I waited a few weeks, and my new Dreamcast came in, I was so happy I almost pissed myself. From then on, I have been taking special care of my Dreamcast. Luckily if it ever happens again, there is a Play N Trade that has 2 of them.

I remember Christmas morning, in 2001, walking into
my livingroom, seeing this big black box wondering
what was. But did not go near it b/c I didn't know
if I could look at anything else, & surprisingly, I
was more interested in seeing what else I had. Later
on, my dad slid the box over to me and told me what
it was. Then I remmbered when i first played it in a
store with Sonic Adventure. It was my first game system
to own and ever play. I thought it was amazing. Plus
learning all the different cool things. Once I found
out it could go online too, I was like begging for all
the onlin stuff I wanted from my dad. He finally found
a BBA for a steal, and we bought Quake 3. Then I got PSO.
I sartedplaying Q3 everyday. I eventually looked into
joining some DC communities, I came across Onlineconsles....
what was I thinking?! Then I became interested in
creating my own Dreamcast site. Later on, I decided I
wanted to make aforum, but I was having trouble doing so.
Then one day, Ieet seone on....PSO I thin. I just entered
the lobby, and I saw someoe say does anyne want to play Q3?
I jumped for jo and replyed with a big yes. Then a little
after playing Q3, I thinkwe exchanged e-mail.He started
helping me out and he offered for us t combine our sites.
So I thought about it a ltte. Then ran over to my DC,
when on the iternet and told him that I would love it &
so on. If it was't or him, I think I would be stuck in
a rut for a while. Thank you Impulse!!! That is
as good as I remember rigt now. ;P

Radkin

I just got Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I played it once,
and I got a little bored of it after a while. What
other games did you buy? :P

I love playing NFL 2k2 (I still play it). I also loved playing UT in multi-player offline with Radkin as well as Fur Fighters all night long until one of us passed out.

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 is the greatest fighter I've ever played. It's becoming an addiction worse than cigarettes. Trying to get all the characters and whatnot is unbecoming. It's getting to be as hard as Rez, and don't even get me started on that, Rad, my friend.

 It's an amazingly great game! Don't get me wrong, it's
just not my type of game. I've grown out of most fighter games.
It's pretty much all the same to me anymore...
