Been playing a fair bit of Zero Gunner 2 lately via a dreamcast emulator. Also been playing some naomi games we didn't get on DC via emulation - Radirgy Noa and Virtua Fighter 4. Ah what could have been.

I'm back to playing Virtua Fighter 3tb. Playing Pai Chan. I'm a bit rusty. The cpu especially Aoi, beat my tail on hard difficulty. Lol! And because of that, I got my 3d sim fighting skills back. 10 points for me! Yeah! 8-)

Testing games for optimization with the ASCII Mission/Flight Stick:
Propeller Arena
Outrigger (AMAZING btw)
Macross M3 demo (actually reasonable levels controls)

Zero Gunner 2 does not work well as it wants the D-Pad

I'm currently playing Outtrigger with the Twin Sticks and Mouse. So great! I would love for this to come back online.

How is the game with the Twin Sticks? I haven't tried it yet, but I was never terribly comfortable with any of the other control setups.

I love it, because it replicates the original arcade experience pretty closely. I would highly recommend pairing the twin sticks with a mouse instead of using them by themselves. The right stick just isn't precise enough for looking compared to a mouse. But the left stick feels great for movement.

I didn't even know you could play with both the Twin Stick and mouse at the same time. I'll have to try that, and finally finish the single-player missions after all these years.

Yep! Just plug the mouse in controller port 2, and it recognizes it as a "sub controller"

Played some more VF3tb last night.
Testing out the sumo dude Taka Arashi in training mode. Holy crap, for a big sumo dude, he is sick. Played through team battle, with a team of Pai and Sarah. It was alot of fun. But that last boss Dural, will always be a pest.

Powerstone and Guilty Gear the other day too. Valgas in PS is really fun to play. He wrecks everyone.

And though I am not a big Anji Mito fan, he's a good character to play. Not bad at all. I think I'll do, some more training with that character, later this week. :geek:
