Time for new External drives and readers for dreamcast burning and GDEMU

My reliable laptop is coming to the end of its life....and since its from 2013 it has a solid disc drive great for burner and a SD card reader slot. She's my go to for burning disc for my main dreamcast and putting games on my GDEMU dreamcast. But she's about to meet her maker and I want to start using my beefy desktop which is much more modern. Problem is it lacks both a disc drive and SD reader slot.

Any recommendations on solid externals that are reliable for dreamcast burning and SD cards?

Any USB SD reader should be good. I have no idea what to suggest about the USB to DVD/Blu-ray burner. I could test the one my daughter has at the office because her new PC at the office was ordered without a disc drive, so they ordered one so she could load AutoCAD.

I have a Samsung SE-S084 that works great for burning Dreamcast games. It's a fairly old drive so they're dirt cheap on eBay.
