Just a quick update: The fundraiser is now at 60% so there's only 50€ left to raise, in case anyone's still interested in contributing. Would be a shame to let this one slide after cracking the 50% mark.

Seems like there‘s good news on all fronts regarding this game.

The owner has just released the files and it looks like there was actually a full game hidden away on the disc including 11 tracks and around 40 bikes.

There are also tons of config files that should allow for easy modification of certain aspects of the game.
Maybe the community can actually manage to get this game to a semi-playable level at least.

Really a full game hidden away on the disc? If that's the case then wow I can't wait for this! It just fascinates me every time an unreleased game gets surfaced..especially one that is semi complete.

When Millennium Racer was released I played it nonstop for weeks until finally beating it.

At first I thought you were saying that there is a hidden game on disk...
Then I looked at the files and it is a full version of TD Cycles.
That being said I have nothing to compare it to since I have never played TD Cycles lol.
But, I will take your word that it is the full version.
Either way it is pretty damn cool.

I don't plan on making a selfboot of this..
I will let some1 else release a .cdi

In fact I will always let others make selfboots for unreleased (betas, protos, demos, etc.), nothing worse than having 5 different versions floating around the web. :) i.e Fish Life

I appreciate that Fish Life was modded to work on dc etc. but there were way too many patchers and isos of it released...Next time pls only do one release...

Thank You for TD Cycles!

Well I'm assuming it's the full game since everything seems to be there content-wise (except for the audio files which seem to be missing for some reason) but they can probably be replaced.

I don't know about a "full game" but there are definitely other tracks. A bit of folder swapping and I was able to play them. Here are some screenshots. For some reason the "Skyline" track is just a void of black nothingness. All the other tracks are fine though. The majority of the tracks have no sky as well.

So crazy how people jump to buy some buggy crap alpha game while our Homebrew and Indie devs go hungry.

Lol, I'm sorry but where did you see people "jumping" to donate for this release? It took a whole month to get funded and barely made it to 10€ in its first week. Also if it wasn't for me lowering the threshold and one of my good friends chipping in by donating half of the required sum, this would surely never have made its goal within a reasonale amount of time...
