List everything the DC can play

so one of my goals for 2021 is to show off what the DC can play in a raspberry style video with a nice display on gdmenu/DCMC or otherwise in my arcade cabinet. The challenge has been collecting everything and getting covers right. Since I'm kinda new to the scene only coming around a little over a year ago, all you guys that have been around since the beginning please help me fill in the gaps on what the DC can play. Here's what I know it plays so far:

600+ original retail DC library
80+ Neo Geo CD games
700+ Genesis games
700+ NES games
350+ Sega Master System games
900+ Atari St games
250+ Amiga games
26 Atomiswave games
70+ Neo Geo Pocket Color
1000 GB/GBC games
60+ Beats of Rage games
10 Half-Life mods

Ports: Cave Story, Witching Hour, VVVVV, Doom, Quake, Hexen, Jazz Jackrabbit, Noiz2sa, Super Mario 64, hydra castle labyrinth, wolfenstein

Homebrew: Drill, After The Fall, Vigoroth the Delivery Man, Giana's Return, Robo Ninja Climb, Primitive Nightmare

I know there is more than this. help me out.

Dreamcast has a version of scummvm which lets it play some adventure games. I have no idea what compatibility is like, but it exists.

We'll alot of the "can play games" won't be in a "playable state" .

I mean 700 genesis games ? How many of those will play will nonframeskip and good enough sound ?

Amiga I guess we can play around 250-300 games in a playable state with close to perfect .

Atari st no idea how good those plays but I suppose pretty good.

I don't want to sound negative in any way only pointing out that if you want to make a list with what you can play on the Dreamcast close to perfect , the list will be pretty hard to do perfect.

Otherwise you can play N64 games ? With 5 FPS I guess (never tried) also a Gameboy advance emulator is available that far from perfect.

I think that is why he didn't list SNES. Since it still has such a long way to go. But Genesis games run pretty good in some emulators on the Dreamcast which has many. Granted I still don't think perfect the majority. But how the hell can we have perfect Neo Geo emulation yet SNES and Genesis still lags behind? This is why I have faith in Ian and the work he is doing to optimize SNES and Genesis emulation on the DC.

I didn't say near perfect. And I'm only going off the stuff posted here on this site. there are genesis emulators posted here with that many games attached to them. The amiga statement is based off your collection. I didn't say I was accurate with numbers either.

No you did not say close to perfect , I just wanted to inform that slot of these games are not even close to perfect. I did not even notice you was the one posting this , if I would I wouldn't answer it because you have been around so long so you already know all that ofc :)

I just want to say again , I don't want to sound like a .. how do you say in english.. "douchebag" ? I just wanted to be kind and inform.

Btw "my" Amiga collection (thanks Ian) is 200 games , but there is prolly alot more that would work just fine that I didn't test.

Good luck with your project m8 <3
