Encoded a full 1.4 hour movie. Sadly it is 1.5 gigs on lowest bitrate. Took 80 hours +

Unfortunately the lowest bitrate really hurt the audio, as it combines both for total bitrate. Pops and cracks are frequent. After reviewing footage I don’t think it is watchable...

Awesome work drez01.
When I tried to split The Outsiders movie into 4 parts, I ran into some issues as well.
After converting each .avi to 4xm, the video would run great for about 3min before it would freeze and then only play audio.

I really wish there was a way to find optimal settings for 4xm.
The format is capable of great quality video.
For that matter, it would be really nice if someone could create a new 4xm converter.
More than likely that is impossible?

Whats the picture quality like?
Is it better than VCD/DCDivX?

Isnt there some sweetspot for setting the bitrate?
GDI's can be as large as you want like?
For GDEmu/DreamShell users.

With the lowest bitrate for 4xm @ 640x480 I think it looks the same as a high bitrate 320x240 TBH. Not good, but tolerable. I started it again at the default bitrate because it will never fit on 1 or 2 CD's anyway. So I thought I would show off what the DC could do, instead of making everyone question the point of it. I am hoping it will be under 4 gigs but I dunno, it will be close..

it's dvd qualty right done correct but you need 5 or 6 cdrs a movie.. It's not dvd bitrate so your not trying to do that..
Much better then VCD or DCDivX ..
